Identify strengths
Translate school, volunteer and life experiences into skills.
Main & Horizon pathway
For young people preparing to enter the world of work, with or without postsecondary education.
Why this pathway?
Finding a path is more than sending a CV. It means understanding skills, exploring occupations, preparing applications and building confidence for first professional conversations.
A conversation about strengths, questions and a goal chosen together. Support is adapted to age and circumstances.
Mentorship in this pathway
An Ally can share experience, help identify options and review a plan. The Ally does not promise a job, interview or preferential access to an employer.
A match depends on volunteer availability, screening and preparation. Registering interest does not guarantee an immediate place.
Proposed workshops
Translate school, volunteer and life experiences into skills.
Draft an initial CV and introduce oneself clearly.
Answer questions and ask for useful feedback.
These topics are proposed for the program’s phased rollout. Dates, venues and formats will be announced after resources are confirmed.
Progress we aim to support
A clearer career direction, improved application materials and steps taken at one’s own pace. No placement is guaranteed.
