Who we are

A community around every young person.

Hand of Emmanuel is an Ottawa-based nonprofit. We are preparing Main & Horizon: mentorship and practical workshops for young people aged 13 and older, at every stage of their journey.

We welcome young people from all backgrounds, with attention to barriers faced by racialized youth and others who are underserved. Our role is to strengthen the positive network around young people, alongside families and local organizations.

Two ways to move forward

A relationship and practical tools.

One-to-one mentorship

An Ally — a screened and prepared adult — listens, helps the young person set goals and offers steady encouragement. Conversations follow the person’s pathway.

Practical workshops

Small groups practise a relevant skill: exploring options, study habits, networking, CVs or interviews. A schedule will be announced when resources and partners are confirmed.
